In Jumpstart you will learn through a perfect balance of songs and fundamentals so that you are having fun while learning the correct techniques.

From your first guitar lesson we can help you learn how to play actual songs that make learning fun. With our progressive song list, you can start with easy beginner songs and gradually increase in difficulty as your guitar abilities grow. We can teach songs by ear, tabs, or reading.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I learn my favorite songs?
Yes, we love to teach using your favorite music. This keeps it fun for everyone. In addition, we also have a progressive list of songs and curriculum to help you learn the guitar in a thorough and well rounded way. 
Do I need to read music?
No. Every student is different, but usually we’ll start with chords and tabs. Reading comes later unless it is a priority for you to start with reading from the beginning of your lessons. 
Can I record my sessions?
Yes, and we encourage it for information retention and self-review.
Do you teach electric and acoustic?
Yes, both instruments are commonly taught at our studio and some students like to switch between the two as well.

Can I rent a guitar?
We have a student guitar that you can use in lessons for no extra charge and can help you find the right instrument for your needs when the time is right.
