PROGRESSIVE SONG BASED LEARNING PATH
From your first lesson we can help you learn how to play actual songs. With our progressive song list, you can start with an easy beginner song and move to more complex songs as you improve. We have an extensive list of songs and we can teach you how to play them by ear or reading.
What To Expect at your First Lesson
- Meet Your Instructor: Your first lesson begins with a casual meet-and-greet where your instructor will learn about your musical background, goals, and interests. This helps us tailor your lessons to your needs.
- Introduction to the Piano: If you’re new to piano, your instructor will guide you through the basics, including hand positioning, posture, and an overview of the keys.
- Basic Exercises: You’ll start with simple exercises to get comfortable with the instrument, such as finger warm-ups and basic scales. If you have prior experience, your instructor will assess your current skill level.
- Learning Your First Piece: Depending on your level, you’ll either begin learning a simple song or refine a piece you’ve been working on. Your instructor will focus on technique, rhythm, and expression.
- Practice Guidance: At the end of the lesson, your instructor will give you practice tips and exercises to help you progress between lessons. You’ll leave feeling motivated and ready to build your skills!
