What to expect during your first voice lesson

• Meet and Greet with Your Teacher: Your lesson begins with a friendly introduction where your teacher will ask about your vocal experience, musical interests, and goals. This helps us tailor the lesson to your needs.
• Initial Vocal Assessment: Through a series of vocalizations, your teacher will determine your vocal range and identify your voice type—whether you’re an alto, baritone, soprano, tenor, or bass.
• Warm-ups, Exercises, and Technique Building: In this part of the lesson, you’ll work on hitting notes accurately, vocalizing vowels clearly, and breathing properly. These exercises are designed to strengthen your voice and expand your vocal abilities.
• Song Practice: Bring in your favorite songs, and your teacher will help you sing them with confidence. Additionally, we’ll introduce you to new songs to broaden your musical horizons and challenge your skills.
