At Pilsen Music, our voice lessons are designed to inspire kids and teens to explore their unique vocal abilities. Through personalized instruction, expert vocal coaching and a supportive learning environment, we encourage students to express themselves confidently and creatively. Whether they're preparing for a performance, developing their musical tools or simply discovering the joy of singing, lessons with our expert teachers and will provide the tools and techniques to help them find their distinct voice.

Whether kids want to sing showtunes, rock, rap, opera, r & b or jazz, our vocal instructors will help build a customized lesson plan that incorporates musical fundamentals, specific songs, and set benchmarks for you to hit along the way. Lessons are fun and students will notice they are consistently improving.

Voice injuries are very common and come from a lack of knowledge and training when singing. By learning the proper way to sing and breathe, students will improve their sound sound, sing longer and vocalize more consistently without losing or damaging their voice. ​When your child sings using proper techniques, they're tapping into their genuine singing voice. With the right guidance, they can unlock their full vocal potential and sing with confidence and joy.

We know that as kids get older their singing ranges change and we can help them be proud of their new voice as they get closer to adulthood. As voices change, so does the music they will want to sing. Our expert instructors will help them through these changes smoothly and confidently.

Parents Always welcome to Sit in Lessons

We always welcome parent to sit in lessons when it best suits the situation. Doing this can be very beneficial for some students. Our lesson rooms have extra chairs and/or couches designed for this specific purpose.

Do you teach changing voices?

Yes - we adjust techniques for each student’s vocal range and development.

What musical genres can my child learn to sing?

We teach pretty much every musical style and genre including classical, pop, rock, jazz, Broadway, R&B, rock, soul, gospel, contemporary Christian, mariachi, banda and more.

Do you help with confidence and stage presence?

Yes we coach confidence on and off stage as well as mic technique and performance skills for recitals, performances, and more. 

Are lessons one-on-one?

Yes, each student works individually with a teacher matched to their voice, preferred musical genres, and learning style. 

Performance Opportunities Twice Per Year

We do recitals twice per year at a venue very close to our lesson studio in Pilsen, Chicago. Recitals are always one of the most special days and have many great benefits for kids and teens whom are interested!
