Frequently Asked Questions

What size violin does my child need?
We’ll help you measure and select the correct size at the trial lesson. We have a student violin that students can use before they have their own violin.
Do you follow Suzuki method?
We follow certain tenets of the Suzuki method - such as learning through listening, parental involvement, and an encouraging environment - but our core curriculum is rooted in a traditional classical approach that develops reading, technique, and musical independence.
Can you help with school orchestra music?
Definitely! We are happy to help students show up prepared and confident for school band and orchestra events. When there is a school orchestra assignment we will either focus a portion of the lesson on completing it or fully dedicate the lesson to help the student meet any upcoming repertoire deadlines. 
How do you keep kids motivated?
We keep students motivated by making lessons fun, choosing music they enjoy, setting achievable, keeping parents in the loop about current assignments and progress and celebrating small wins.
