Tuition Payments
Lessons are $119, $169, or $219 per month for weekly lessons depending on lesson length (30, 45, or 60 minute lessons).
Monthly tuition pays for us to offer an average of 4 sessions per month between January and November. Some months may have 3 lessons offered while others will have 5. The average will be 4 lessons offered per month. December is half price due to the holidays. You can view our calendar at pilsenmusic.com/calendar
Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. All students are required to be set up for Auto Pay. We can do this via Credit Card or automatic withdrawal of your checking account. Our autopay is set to withdraw tuition on the 5th every month.
If we do not receive tuition by the 10th of the month, a $20 late fee will be charged to your account.
Lesson Commitment (and make ups)
We do not offer make ups or reschedule lessons, but if a student cannot make it to their lesson we can switch the lesson online or we can send a lesson video upon request. If one of our teachers needs to cancel a lesson, you will be credited for 1/4th of a monthly payment towards the next month.
If you need to make a permanent switch to your lesson time, please let us know 10 days before the lesson that needs to be switched.
When signing up for lessons, students commit to their reserved time slot on the schedule for the full month. We ask students and parents to make sure they can commit to their lesson time as we cannot change class schedules once the semester has begun. A video lesson can be provided upon request for missed classes.
In the event that the student moves out of state or experiences an extreme illness, we will refund refund the remainder of the cost of the month's lessons. Under no other circumstance will we issue a full refund of monthly tuition. In the exempt of financial hardship, please contact us to discuss your commitment to lessons. We have scholarship programs available to help with your immediate needs.
Weather
In the event of extreme weather or extreme weather threats, all lessons will be moved online through google meet. We will send you the information for the meeting at the beginning of your lesson time.
Everything Else
Pilsen Music accepts students who have a natural curiosity to music and their instrument, and requires students to respect their teachers, fellow students, and instruments while in the studio. If a student is not able to do so, our staff reserves the right to have the student sit out of lessons.
We at Pilsen Music encourage students to practice outside of lessons, but we ask parents to not gauge a student's progress based on practice. As long as students keep a natural curiosity toward their instrument, respect their teacher and instrument, and come to their weekly lessons, they will have great progress.
Pilsen Music has my permission to use my or my child’s photograph publicly to promote the studio. I understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use. If you would like to opt out of this please email our director at [email protected]
If drums are being played, ear plugs are required for all people in the room. Drums are very loud and it is very important for us to protect our hearing.
